Applying blush is the easiest way to perk your face up, especially if you’re not so keen on wearing makeup. Pink is a great color choice because it looks natural. Be sure to keep it light and subtle because a little too much can make anyone look clownish.

Powder-Based Blush

Use a soft-bristled brush. The bigger the diameter of the brush, the better. Another option is a Kabuki brush. This makes the color blend easily on the skin. Use a check mark brush stroke and start on the apple of your cheek to the hairline before your ear. This kind of stroke defines the cheek bone. For easier application, try smiling—this brings out the cheek shape.

Cream-Based Blush
If you prefer a dewy finish, try a cream blush. Finger application is the best way to do it. First, put a pea-sized amount of moisturizer on the skin. Then, apply three to four dots on the apple of your cheeks. Gently blend into the skin with your middle and pointer fingers in circular motion.

Tip: When choosing the right pink blush for you, always consider your skin tone. The darker the skin tone, the richer the pink should be. For fair skin, bright pinks will look the most natural. – Yahoo
