March is roaring in like a lion in a big, colorful way. Rich, bold, heart-stopping shades are leading the pride for this spring’s smokey eye looks. Surprisingly, anyone can pull them off   …if you know a few tricks.




Midnight Shimmer

1. Prime the eye.  2. Apply a dark navy blue eyeshadow to the crease and blend out well. 3. Apply a deep navy blue to the crease lightly. Do not blend up too high. 4. Apply Stila Air’ as the highlight. 5. Apply a dark golden olive to the entire lid, blending out harsh lines. 6. Apply a pale shimmer shadow to the lower lash line.  7. Apply a white shimmer to the tear duct.  8. Apply liner to the water line and false lashes.






Lilac  Luster

1. Prime your eye (Urban Decay Primer Potion).  2. Apply a white base on your lid and blend it (NYX Jumbo Eyepencil in ‘Milk‘ or another white pencil).  3. Add a shimmery white eyeshadow over the lid and in the inner corner.  4. Apply from the inner to the outer part of your lid a lilac  eyeshadow. 5. Blend the lilac color with a shimmery, rosy-red eyeshadow. 6. Add a deep violet in the outer v; blend.  7. Top of with a shimmery rosy-gold eyeshadow outside over the lids. 8. Use the same colors on the under-lashline and apply a white/nude pencil on your waterline.  9. Line your eye with black eyeliner.  10. Finish the look with a mascara. (optional: add fake lashes)






Twilight Haze

1. Take the H.I.P. duo in Sculpted. Use the light pinkish shade and apply generously to entire eyelid.  2. Next, take the darker shimmery shade and apply to crease. Blend well.  3. Using the same darker shimmery shade, apply under lower lash line from outer corner to half way to the tear duct.  4. Next, take the H.I.P duo in Platinum. Dab ring finger in the silver shade and pat on the middle of your eyelid.  5. Using this same shade and a small liner brush, line the inner corner of the eye and the bottom of the lash line.  6. Take the darker shade in this duo, the shimmery black, and apply to outer corners of eye blending into the crease and lid to create a smokey effect in the outer corner.  7. Line the eyes with the gel liner in black and wing it out and upward towards your eyebrow.  8. Finish the look by applying false eyelashes.
